About the Role
Full time industrial mechanic.
Duties will include:
Teardown and inspection
- Check all critical fits with calipers and micrometers
- Record, photograph, and document problematic items to be replaced or machined
- Identify and communicate failure mode and possible preventative solutions
- Complete parts order list. (seals, bearings, and components to be replace per job)
Reassembly
- Ensure all ordered parts are correct and present
- Ensure all asset components are washed, prepped and ready for reassembly
- Assembly according to OEM standards and torque specifications
Test Assembled assets
- Ensure all electrical connections including accessories like float switches and overloads are
connected and functioning properly
- Pressure test oil cavity and stator body on submersible pumps
- Perform short no-load run test to ensure proper operation and to record amps per leg
Requirements
Must be a self starter.
Have a high attention to detail with complex machines.
Must be familiar with industrial and water/waste water pumps.
Must reside or be willing to relocate to the NWA area.
Must be proficient with using calipers and micrometers
Must have your own basic mechanics tools (shop has specialty tools)
